And here is the proof.

Musk and Trump are actively helping Russia kill civilians and destroy the whole of Ukraine.

Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone."

He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population."

He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory."

"They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this."

He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

Donald Trump and and Musk commit genocide

Donald Trump and and Musk commit genocide. Yes, they do.

I waited several days about this matter, because I wanted to see more facts. Now we have them , and Dean Blundell sums it up.

This is what came by email.

Nine people died in Kyiv on Wednesday morning while the drones that were supposed to protect them hung in the air at a speed limit set by Elon Musk. 3 more this morning in Pisochyn as well.

Thirty-nine ballistic missiles. More than 120 drones in the first wave. All three of the capital's combined heat and power plants hit in one night, 600,000 people without electricity, and the interceptor drones Ukraine uses to shoot down jet-powered Shaheds suddenly losing their satellite link the moment they accelerated past roughly 160 km/h. Nobody in Kyiv was warned. Nobody in Washington would explain it. Musk said it was Trump. Trump said it was nobody. And on Friday night The Telegraph published what four separate sources told them: Musk walked into the White House with the idea, and the President of the United States said yes.

That is the whole story, and it should end careers, but we both know it won't. So let's at least get it on the record properly before the lie gets another lap.

Keep in mind, Musk and Trump have only restricted Starlink in Ukraine when it comes to Ukraine's ability to intercept incoming Russian attacks. Nowhere else.

What the Telegraph actually found

Four sources familiar with the discussions say Musk approached Trump directly with a proposal to put speed limits on Starshield, the military version of Starlink that Ukraine runs its entire battlefield on. Not the Pentagon approaching Musk. Not some procurement officer flipping a switch. The richest man on earth pitching the President on slowing down an ally's communications network in the middle of a war. One source says Trump "agreed." That agreement was the green light. The Pentagon did the rest.
Two Ukrainian sources and a senior European official independently confirmed the same account.
Then it blew up. The restriction went live overnight into Wednesday, October 14, with no notice to Kyiv. Serhii Beskrestnov, Zelensky's defence technology adviser, posted that Ukraine had just been "deprived of one of the few chances to defend itself from Shahed drones." Interceptor drones went blind above the cap. Attack drones slowed down and turned into easier targets for Russian guns. Supply drones carrying food and water to soldiers in the drone kill zone stopped getting through. Poland, which pays for Ukraine's Starlink subscriptions, lost its mind.

And Musk, according to a senior source, got nervous. Not about the dead. About European consumers cancelling their Starlink plans. So he did what he always does. He went on X and announced that Starshield "systems are owned and controlled by the U.S. government" and that any limits were "decided by the U.S. military and ultimately" the President. Clean hands. Not my circus.

The source put it in one sentence: he tweeted that he was innocent and the administration did it, and the reality is that they were both in it.

Trump's answer, in full

On Friday, a reporter asked Trump point blank, outside the White House, whether it was him or Musk who throttled Ukraine's Starlink. Here is the leader of the free world's complete response: "Well, I don't know if it was anybody because it wasn't me, and I don't think it was Elon."

It wasn't anybody. The satellites just got shy. He's going with the "It wasn't me" Shaggy defence.

Except it was. Both of them. Confirmed.

An anonymous official told AFP the President never requested a reduction in service. Musk says the government did it. Trump says nobody did it. The Pentagon, which actually flipped the switch, has said nothing at all. Three different stories for one decision, and every one of them is built to make sure no name ever gets attached to the body count.

The Telegraph attached two.

The timing is the confession

Pull back and look at the calendar, because this didn't happen in a vacuum. It happened inside the ugliest ten days of Trump's Russia policy, which is saying something.

Friday, October 9. Trump gets off a 90-minute call with Putin and announces Russia will ship 300,000 tons of diesel to America, with more to follow, plus a six-month holiday from the sanctions law he signed three weeks earlier. Diesel is $6.27 a gallon, and the midterms are November 3.

Saturday, October 10. Zelensky calls the diesel deal a gift to Putin. Trump tells reporters Ukraine should "get a new leader." That same day, Elon Musk posts "Zelensky has gone too far."
Write that down. The man who would, within days, pitch the White House on throttling Ukraine's drones had already decided in public that Ukraine's President was the problem.

Sunday, October 11. Trump invents an "energy ceasefire" on Truth Social that neither Kyiv nor Moscow agreed to.

Monday into Tuesday. American officials call Ukraine's commander-in-chief and the head of military affairs in the Presidential Office, threatening to cut intelligence sharing and the PURL weapons pipeline if Ukraine keeps hitting Russian refineries.

Tuesday night. Russian ballistic missiles hit Kyiv. Ukraine's air force says there was no American early warning for the first wave.

Wednesday morning, October 14. Starlink gets throttled without warning. Thirty-nine ballistic missiles and more than 120 drones hit Kyiv and Kharkiv. Nine dead. Power out for 600,000.

Zelensky: "It's a big mistake."

Thursday. Zelensky counts more than 850 Shaheds since Tuesday midnight, across 15 regions. He says it out loud: this is happening at exactly the moment Ukraine's defensive capabilities are being artificially restricted. Russia launched 124 drones overnight and another 145 during the day. The Russians, he says, are plainly trying to exploit the Starlink problem, because interceptor drones depend on it.

Friday. Trump says it wasn't anybody. The Telegraph says it was Musk and Trump.

So here is the sequence in one breath. Trump lifts sanctions on Putin's fuel. Ukraine objects. Trump calls for regime change in Kyiv. Musk calls Zelensky out. Washington threatens Ukraine's generals. The early warning goes quiet. Starlink gets choked. Russia fires close to a thousand drones into the gap. And then the two men who opened the gap stand in front of cameras and point at each other.

Zelensky, in Brussels on Friday: "We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered Shaheds that strike our civilians and kill our families. When the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept some of the jet-powered Shaheds. We were unable to use a tool to protect civilians."

That is a head of state describing, in plain language, Ukrainians who are dead because a speed limit was set in Washington with the help of the Richest Fascist in the world.

The thing Musk said in 2025

Last year, when accused of using Starlink as leverage, Musk posted this: "No matter how much I disagree with the Ukraine policy, Starlink will never turn off its terminals. We would never do such a thing or use it as a bargaining chip."

He was right about one word. He didn't turn it off. He slowed it down to the exact speed where it stops working against the drones that kill people. Then, when the bodies started stacking up, he blamed the government he'd made the pitch to.

This is the same man who, by his own admission in 2023, refused to extend Starlink coverage over Sevastopol so Ukraine couldn't hit the Russian Black Sea fleet. Different year, same instinct. Whenever Ukraine is about to hurt Russia where it counts, Elon finds a dial to turn.

And he does it now as a Pentagon adviser. Musk advises the Department of Defence on technology through Project Meridian. He is not an outside vendor who got told what to do. He is inside the building, pitching the President, and then telling the public the building did it to him.

Why a speed cap, and why that speed

The cap is somewhere around 160 km/h, roughly 100 mph. That is not a random number. Ukraine's interceptor drones have to run flat out to catch the jet-powered Geran variants Russia is now launching in bulk. Their long-range attack drones need speed to survive Russian air defence on the way to a refinery. The supply drones that keep front-line troops alive in the kill zone need speed to survive Russian FPVs on the way in.

Set the limit right there, and you don't have to turn anything off. You just make everything Ukraine flies slightly too slow to work. It's deniable, it's reversible, and it lands on civilians first. Beskrestnov called it what it was: Ukraine's ability to defend itself from Shaheds, removed.

Zelensky made one more point in Brussels that matters. Ukraine does not use Starlink for deep strikes inside Russia. Starlink doesn't even operate over Russia. So whatever this was, it wasn't a way to stop refinery strikes. The refinery strikes kept happening. Ryazan burned on Wednesday. Surgut burned on Friday. The only thing the cap reliably stopped was Ukraine shooting down drones over its own cities.

Read that as policy, not as an accident, and the whole week makes sense. The White House wanted Ukraine to stop hitting Putin's fuel supply. Ukraine said no. So the one lever that doesn't touch the refinery campaign but does hurt Ukrainians at home got pulled.

Follow the money, because it's the same money

This is where the Starlink story stops being a Musk story and becomes the Trump story we've been writing for a week.

Trump has roughly $80 billion in Russian business sitting on the table. The Lukoil deal Putin personally pitched to Witkoff and Kushner at the Kremlin on September 5, with Trump donor Todd Boehly leading the buyers and Gulf money tied to World Liberty Financial and the Kushner family holding the equity. The Nord Stream conversation between Kirill Dmitriev and Kushner that five Reuters sources confirmed. Arctic mining. The frozen assets. Every single one of those deals is worth nothing while sanctions hold and Ukraine keeps winning the economic war. Every one of them is worth billions the day Ukraine stops.

Ukraine's refinery campaign is the only thing in four and a half years that made the Russian state visibly fail its own people. Forty % of refining capacity offline by summer. Fuel rationing in 55 of 83 regions. Russia importing diesel from Morocco. That campaign was closing Putin's window, and it was closing Trump's payday with it.

So Trump lifted sanctions on the fuel. Then he threatened Ukraine's generals. Then the early warning went dark. Then, according to four sources, his biggest donor walked in with a plan to slow Ukraine's drones, and he said yes, to protect both of their interests in Russia at the behest of Putin.

You can call that a coincidence if you want. It isn't. Putin's spokesman stood in Moscow this week and said out loud that the Kremlin doesn't want a ceasefire. Trump's response was to punish the country being bombed. There's no version of events where that's an accident.

The tell is in the denials

Innocent people don't need three alibis. When the restriction hit, Musk didn't say "I don't know what happened." He said the government did it. When Trump was asked, he didn't say "I'll find out." He said nobody did it. The Pentagon, which could end the whole mystery with one sentence, has chosen silence.

Every actor who could take responsibility has instead been very careful to make sure none of them can. That is not how a technical fault behaves. That is how a decision behaves when the people who made it have just watched it kill civilians on television.

The Telegraph's senior source attributed Musk's denial to a motive: he was worried about European customers. Not Ukrainian families. Not the nine dead in Kyiv. Market share.

And Trump? Trump's denial came the same day his administration was supposed to be imposing the mandatory sanctions in the Graham Act he signed in September. The deadline is tomorrow, Sunday, October 18. There is no waiver on file. Instead, there is a six-month diesel license. The man who told reporters "it wasn't me" about Starlink is the same man who told nobody at all why his own
Russia law is being ignored.

Where Ukraine goes from here

Starlink service has stabilized at the front, Ukrainian sources say, for now. Nobody knows for how long and nobody in Washington will say who controls the dial. That is a NATO ally's entire battlefield communications network sitting one bad mood away from a speed limit, controlled by a man who has already proven twice that he'll use it.

Europe has read the room. Britain is rushing missiles built to kill jet-powered drones. Belgium is promising F-16s this year. Zelensky walked into the EU summit on Friday asking for 300 Patriot interceptors, 70 billion euros, and the Russian assets. He also warned that the diesel license is the opening bid, and gas deals, banking relief and sanctions on individuals will follow. Europe, meanwhile, has started shutting the United States out of the conversation about Russian assets entirely, which tells you how much the allies still trust the White House with a secret.

The fix is obvious and it's the same one it was on Monday. Ukraine cannot run a war on infrastructure owned by Elon Musk and approved by Donald Trump. Europe has to put its own satellites, its own launch warning, its own targeting and its own money underneath Ukraine now, not at the next summit. Because the lesson of this week isn't that the Americans might cut Ukraine off. It's that they already did, for four days, without warning, during the largest drone assault of the year, and then lied about it.

The bottom line

A sitting American president, according to four sources, agreed to a proposal from his largest donor to degrade an ally's air defence while that ally was under ballistic missile attack. Hundreds of thousands lost power. People died. The president's response was to say it wasn't anybody. The donor's response was to blame the president. And the diesel from the country doing the bombing is scheduled to dock in American ports in time for an election.
If a Democrat had done this, the word "treason" would be on every chyron on Fox by lunchtime, and for once they'd be right.

There are four witnesses now. There's a date, a speed, a body count and a motive. All that's missing is a Congress willing to put Elon Musk and Pete Hegseth under oath and ask one question: who turned the dial, and who told him to.

BTW - Elon Musk is what happens when the Bond Villain wins.

Seems important.

17 days, America. 17. Days.
